How to Enroll

Admissions Information

We seek students of good character who desire to learn and succeed in a challenging, creative, and beautiful Christian environment. Lindisfarne Hall students are expected to be diligent in their work, respectful to authority, and friendly to their classmates.

Enrollment in Lindisfarne Hall is not limited to families who are able to pay full tuition. Our administrator will be happy to meet with those who need financial options.

Important Notes Before You Proceed:

Lindisfarne Hall operates in a strong partnership with the Christian family and the local church.  Acceptance requires at least one parent (and also the student if in 7th-12th grade) to express a clear testimony of Christian faith and to be in regular attendance at a Biblically based, Christian church.

If your child has an IEP, 504 or other documented plan or undocumented condition, please contact our administrator, Mrs. Janelle Gelston, at Lindisfarne.Hall@gmail.com to discuss our ability to meet your child’s needs.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1: Read the article

"Is Lindisfarne Hall Right for Your Family?"

Step 2: Schedule a Tour

Our administrator will call or email you to schedule a tour. We'll answer your questions and help you determine if we are a good fit for your child.

Step 3: Submit Applications

Once these forms are submitted, our administrator will notify you via email with instructions for completing the enrollment process.

Applicants for admission are considered without regard to sex, race, national or ethnic origin.

When the school receives the Tour & Interview Request form, our administrator will reach out to you to schedule a tour and casual interview. The purpose of the interview is two-pronged: one is to give the parent an opportunity to get to know us and to ask questions, and the other is to ensure that:
a)  the parents desire a Christian education for their child; and
b)  family beliefs and practices are consistent with the standards, statement of faith, and values of the school.

(Students entering 7th-12th grades should be able to articulate faith in Jesus Christ.)

Students entering grades 3 and up will be given a gentle academic assessment to determine readiness for our program.

After the tour, interview, and assessment, you are ready to submit the application. You will be promptly notified of acceptance or wait-list status.    Note: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance to Lindisfarne Hall.

Each grade level has a set capacity for the number of students due to space constraints and because we value smaller class sizes and close teacher-student relationships.  Therefore, if the number of applications exceeds the number of available seats in a class, we will begin a wait list for qualified applicants.

Lindisfarne Hall seeks to glorify God in all we do at school. One significant way we do this is through wearing uniforms. Beyond the immediate benefit of simplifying the morning routine of what to wear, there are intentional reasons we have chosen to implement school uniforms.

  • There is a cohesiveness or unity among the students wearing the school uniform, much like athletes wearing their team uniform.
  • Because there is a sense of visible oneness, uniforms help us to focus on the inward beauty and individuality of others.
  • We dress according to the importance of the occasion. Since education is important, we want our dress to reflect that.
  • Modesty is upheld by wearing uniforms
  • Ultimately, uniforms are less expensive

If applying for kindergarten (K5), your child must be 5-years-old by September 30th of the school year for which you are applying.

Is Lindisfarne Hall Affordable?

1. Our tuition is comparable with other private schools in the area.

2. Because we have generous donors, we are able to make sure that a student will not be turned away from Lindisfarne Hall due to financial circumstances. Please let us know your needs; we can help.

3. Many families are eligible for their tuition and other costs to be covered by the Step-Up Scholarship Program. K-12 students, regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school can receive a scholarship worth an average of $7,700 to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs. The scholarship can be used for tuition along with other related expenses such as registration, books, testing and other fees.

Faculty Misconduct
Due to the Ethics in Education Act which went into effect on July 1, 2008, all schools are required to inform their parents of the “policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.” Any misconduct should be reported to Janelle Gelston, Administrator, at (904) 206-0962, or Fr. Brad Cunningham, Head of School, at (904) 335-7818.
