Whether for good or ill, our lives are shaped by our habits. At Lindisfarne Hall it is our goal to help our students master those good and valuable habits that will serve them well for their lifetimes.
Each of us has in his possession an exceedingly good servant or a very bad master, known as Habit. The heedless, listless person is a servant of habit; the useful, alert person is the master of a valuable habit.
To notice and think about the good in others, to notice and think about the good in situations, and to not let thoughts of selfishness or resentment settle in
To manifest good tempers: amiability, patience, humor, cheerfulness, and humility (rather than fretfulness, discontentment, sullenness, murmuring, or impatience)
“The habits of the child
produce the character of the man.”
